Having a daughter for so many years, I’ve been reliving my childhood with Barbies, pretend play, and tea parties. When I had a son, our playtime wasn’t very different initially. We play with dinosaurs and Little People toys, which have been a constant in our house since my daughter was young. However, now my son has added monster trucks, superheroes, and more stereotypical boys’ toys to our playtime. At first, I won’t lie – I felt a little out of my element. However, it didn’t take me long before I was smashing trucks and dinosaurs together. We’ve been having so much fun and I love seeing my son’s face light up.
